INFUT highlights the Club’s transparency

The Transparency Index of Football Clubs by ‘Transparency International Spain’ in its latest evaluation regarding the current season, gives an outstanding score to Málaga Club de Fútbol.

The main aims of INFUT are founded on evaluating the level of transparency of football clubs and Public Limited Sports Companies, as well as clarifying and strengthening the information they offer to people and society overall.

As such, the data from the 42 teams that make up professional football (20 in LaLiga Santander and 22 in LaLiga SmartBank) is analysed, taking into account nearly 50 (48) indicators related to the most important areas within the respective entities.

Specifically, INFUT evaluates five key points:

  • Information about the football club
  • Relations with members, fans and the general public
  • Economic-financial transparency
  • Transparency in procurement and supply
  • Indicators within the Law of Transparency

The 48 indicators are the final result of a process in which sports entities, amateur associations and public institutions such as the Professional Football League itself or the National Sports Council, amongst others, participate.
