“I’m satisfied with the work, it was a tough ground”
The Málaga CF coach is happy with the effort shown by his team and played down the condition of the pitch: “The pitch was the same for both teams. The team that best adapts to what may occur each weekend is the one that will come out on top”, he said.
Complicated away fixture
“This competition is very long, difficult and hard. This category is match by match, everyone very tense until the last second. We have to be satisfied with the work and effort shown by the players at a tough ground. The team stood their ground at a difficult stadium, a complicated place to play. We knew we had to be practical as the field of play wasn’t giving us anything, and we were fine”.
Match analysis
“It wasn’t easy. It was a match in which both teams pressured well. We knew the difficulty involving the condition of the pitch; the ball bounced a lot, at times you had to give another touch so you didn’t lose the ball, there were more inaccuracies… however, the pitch was the same for both teams and you need to adapt to everything. The team that best adapts to what may occur each weekend is the one that will come out on top”.

“He has overcome a complicated injury thanks to effort and hard work together with the medical team. We’re delighted as he was able to enjoy his first minutes. He’s been working for a few days without taking any steps backwards, he had no problems”.
Standings
“What we have to try to do is score all three points whenever we can and move closer to those top positions towards the end of the league season. Whilst we’re winning, I don’t look at the table because we’re in a good position. Morally the team is doing well, works hard and competes very well, therefore we have to be satisfied”.
