Atlético Malagueño

The Malaguista reserve team was defeated by CD Don Benito at La Federación. In a very tight game, with few opportunities, the visitors took the lead midway through the first half thanks to a magnificent shot from Sillero inside the area. At half-time, Sanlúcar took off Chica and introduced Ramos in search of more possession in the attacking half. This was achieved, but without any danger as the rival defended tooth and nail. In 53’, following a couple of rebounds inside the area, CD Don Benito increased their lead in one of the few chances for the visitors in the second half. The Blue and Whites dominated in the closing stages, but without success in the final metres.

Juvenil DH

Francis Bravo’s team returned to winning ways on Sunday against Vázquez Cultural. Málaga CF’s Juvenil A team won by 2-0 with goals from Vicario and Julio, to accumulate 52 points in the standings, and ending this matchday in fourth place.  Next week the División de Honor will play Cañada Atlético, a rival in the bottom part of the table.
