Haitam sustains cruciate ligament injury

Málaga CF player, Haitam Abaida has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and is awaiting surgery in the near future.

The Moroccan winger, who was injured during last Saturday's match against Ponferradina, underwent complementary tests this afternoon at Vithas Centro Médico La Rosaleda.

The MRI performed on Haitam confirmed a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee, meaning the homegrown Blue and White player will have to undergo surgery on a date yet to be determined.

Málaga Club de Fútbol sends all the strength in the world to Haitam Abaida and wishes him a speedy recovery. Fuerza, Haitam!
