Guede: “The team is working hard to continue growing”
The Málaga CF coach held a press conference this Saturday afternoon at La Rosaleda, the day before #MálagaAlbaceteBP: “We have to reinforce many things,” he affirmed.
In relation to the transfer market, “Manolo has to make the assessment. He knows what I think. We had already fulfilled the objective, and the last signing (N'Diaye) was an extra one and very welcome,” said the Spanish-Argentinean coach.
Guede considers that the team has reached this match “well, we’ve worked hard and will try to keep growing,” for tomorrow’s game. “They have their form, they’re strong in set pieces and they always perform well. We really need to focus on this team,” he said about Albacete.
“N'Diaye? I’m not sure if he’ll be called-up. He did pre-season training and physically he’s in good shape, but he hasn't done anything for a week. These days are crazy, I know from experience. It happens to all of us, and the risk of injury is high,” he said in regard to the latest Blue and White signing.
The passionate desire to win at home is palpable: “I don't have a crystal ball. Hopefully, we all have the same wish. I’ll say it again, we have to keep working hard and reinforcing many things. Then football places you where you deserve to be. Let’s try and forget last season, as this one is completely different. We’re a new squad with different hopes and goals.”
Regarding the injuries of several central defenders, “it's incredible,” Guede said several times: “It is what it is, but I don’t think we’ll have any problems. I’m not complaining, but it is frustrating. We can’t prevent those injuries.”
Finally, “the message (to the fans) I’ve said 200 times. It all happens on the pitch,” said the coach about #MálagaAlbaceteBP.
