Cervezas San Miguel awarded the winners of the #TemplosMalaguistas competition with an incredible tasting of four different beers from their extensive range: Magna, Magna Roja 0,0, Manila and Yakima Valley IPA. The four lucky Malaguistas and their guests enjoyed a lovely Wednesday afternoon at Hotel AC Málaga Palacio, taking a trip through the history of Málaga CF.
Representing the Club at the Malaguista tasting were Francisco Martín Aguilar, Protocol and Institutional Relations adviser and Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’, from the Social Department. The former encouraged fans to “keep their temples at home with historic memories of Málaga CF”.
In addition, two first team captains, Lombán and Escassi, remotely joined the festivities from home. Both congratulated the winners, who at the end of 2020 uploaded their personal collections of Club memorabilia to social media.
For Lombán “it’s a pleasure to belong to a Club with such amazing fans and I’ve seen many Malaguista temples”. Escassi is “very proud of the fans’ loyalty, our supporters are very important to us”.
One of the winners, Juanma Ruiz, Málaga CF season ticket holder number 44 and a Malaguista Patron explains that “the Malaguista temple is behind the television and when I watch a game, I take time to appreciate all my keepsakes. Being here with San Miguel and Málaga CF is perfect”.
Iris de Palacio, local Brand Manager for Mahou-San Miguel in the south, took part in the beer tasting led by journalist Manuel Álvarez.
