The Royal Spanish Football Federation has today announced the pairings for the first round of the ‘Copa de S. M. La Reina’. The midweek fixtures will range from Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th September.
Málaga CF are at home for this exciting Andalusian derby against Granada CF. The rival competes in the silver division, renamed the Primera Federación, and features several former Malaguistas such as Pamela, Postigo, Noelia, Andrea and Yurena.
MCFF performed superbly in the Copa de la Reina 21/22 competition, getting through two rounds defeating CE Seagull and Zaragoza CFF, and losing with honours to Rayo Vallecano at La Rosaleda in the third round of the tournament.
Nacho Pérez’s team, in full pre-season mode, will kick-off the 22/23 league competition next week. They are at home against Valencia Féminas CF ‘B’ on matchday 1 of Grupo Sur in the new Segunda Federación Femenina.
