Alfred N’Diaye returns to Málaga CF!

Málaga Club de Fútbol have reached an agreement with the Senegalese international, who will join the Club on a free transfer until 2024 after having played for Al-Shabab FC.

N'Diaye signs to the Blue and White entity for the next two seasons, and is expected to pass the relevant medical examination this Thursday morning, September 1st.

Alfred John Momar N’Diaye (Paris, France, 1990), is a powerful and experienced midfielder who occupies the wide area of midfield, and faces his second spell at Málaga CF. In the 2018/19 season he played for the Blue and Whites in the Second Division on loan from Villarreal CF. His stats that year, 34 league games (34 in the starting line-up and 32 complete matches) with 3,007 minutes of play and five goals scored.

This will be the African player’s third experience in the silver division of Spanish football. The first, in the ranks of Real Betis Balompié, was a success, winning the league (2014/15) and promotion to the First Division. With Betis he shared a dressing room with Rubén Castro, the Second Division ‘pichichi’ that campaign.

N'Diaye also has an extensive career in the elite in leagues such as the Spanish (Betis and Villarreal), the English (Sunderland and Hull City in the Premier, and winner of the Championship with Wolverhampton) and in France with AS Nancy, where he trained. He also played in Turkey (Bursaspor and Eskisehirspor) and his last stage was in Saudi Arabia, at Al-Shabab FC (2019-22).

In addition, he has a large number of international caps with France within the youth categories from the U-17s to the U-21s. And with the Senegalese national team, he has accumulated 27 official matches, and was proclaimed runner-up in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 in Egypt.

N’Diaye returns to Málaga and Málaga CF with a lot of love. The Club’s 13th signing of the 22/23 season, hours before the transfer window closes. From today, your luck will again be ours. Welcome home Alfred!
