The match was hard-fought: “In the first half we created goal chances, but the rival was also in search of a much-need goal, and we were disappointed to concede before half-time.”  However with a great performance in the second half, Málaga took the lead “thanks to patience and confidence, which allowed us to turn the match around.”
 
Málaga CF ends 2014 with 30 points and in seventh place in the League following three consecutive victories: “Eight wins out of ten games puts us in a privileged position.  It is a result of a lot of hard work, a very good squad and fantastic performances from the players.  It takes a great deal of effort to achieve victories, so we need to continue along the same path and see how far we can go.”
