A fun game in which the team made up of members of the sports press gave a surprise to the scoreboard with a great goal by journalist Navarro Arias following a pass from Jorge Padilla.  Before half-time, the Blue and Whites veterans turned it around with goals by Armando and Antonio Vegas, the latter playing having to retire from the pitch slightly knocked, to the relief of the journalists’ defence led by J.J. Criado and Jesús Ballesteros.  In the second half, Antonio Hierro’s squad got another four goals, with Marcos and Armando scoring twice each and Haro securing one, meaning the end result was 6-1.
 
In the press side, José Malo, in goal, led a team including Dani Marín, Emilio Guerrero, Chemi Gálvez, Javi Garijo, Javi Bautista, Kike Salvatierra – poisonous and dangerous a the cutting edge – and the team did what they could to avoid a wider gap on the scoreboard.  The Annex witnessed a clash of healthy rivalry.
 
It’s a special day for the Club’s veterans as they’ll celebrate their traditional Christmas lunch this afternoon from 2 p.m in La Finca ‘El Tinto.’
