Cueva de Nerja returns to the Málaga CF pre-match shirt

The Club and the Fundación Pública Cueva de Nerja continue their partnership for a third consecutive year, unveiling the pre-match shirt design for the 2026/27 season.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and the Fundación Pública de Servicios Cueva de Nerja have renewed their collaboration for another season, strengthening a partnership that takes on added significance with the Blue and White first team’s return to Spain’s top flight.

A Club delegation led by judicial administrator José María Muñoz and general manager Kike Pérez welcomed Javier Salas, president of the Fundación Cueva de Nerja; José Alberto Armijo, the Foundation’s first vice-president and mayor of Nerja; and Málaga provincial councillor Nieves Atencia, representing Francisco Salado, the Foundation’s second vice-president and president of the Provincial Council, during a formal visit to La Rosaleda to mark the renewal of the partnership between the two organisations.

The pre-match shirt will once again be worn by Málaga CF players during their warm-up ahead of competitive fixtures. The Cueva de Nerja logo will feature prominently on the Malaguista kit, as it has done since the 2024/25 season.

The agreement also includes a range of joint initiatives, including an upcoming visit by Málaga CF players and representatives to the Cueva de Nerja. Meanwhile, the Fundación Pública de Servicios Cueva de Nerja will continue supporting Málaga Genuine, the team run by the MCF Foundation, further strengthening a partnership that extends beyond the sporting arena.

For Málaga CF, the partnership further strengthens its association with one of the province’s leading cultural and tourist attractions, the Cueva de Nerja, serving as a platform to promote Málaga’s heritage, culture and tourism.
