Torralvo returns to Málaga Femenino!

The forward returns to Málaga CF and will be part of the Blue and White squad for the 2026/27 season after bringing her spell at Granada CF to an end.

Sonia Ruiz Torralvo (Granada, 2000) is a forward who, despite her age, has already built up plenty of experience throughout her career. Determination, energy, pace and an eye for goal are among the qualities that define a player who knows Málaga very well.

Torralvo came through the youth ranks at her hometown club, spending more than eight seasons there and splitting her time between the first team and reserve side. She previously played for Málaga CF during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

The Granada-born forward was the team’s top scorer in her first season with Málaga, netting 18 goals in total, 17 in the league and one in the Copa de la Reina. Her contribution proved crucial as the Blue and Whites won the Primera Nacional Group 4 title in 2022.

Last season, 2025/26, Sonia Torralvo competed in the same Segunda Federación Group 3 as Málaga CF. With Granada CF ‘B’, she made 25 appearances and scored seven goals. Following the arrivals of Lucía, Carmela, Judith and Elsa, Torralvo becomes sporting director Estrella Díaz’s fifth signing of the summer.

With her return, Torralvo is back home to continue making history in the Blue and White colours. Welcome back, Sonia!
