17th match within BBVA League between Valencia and Málaga, which has, in the past, resulted in victories for Valencia, losing only once to the Blue and Whites as a CF, as well as three draws in Mestalla.
After Real Madrid and Barcelona, Valencia has had the most consecutive wins against Málaga, including the last four games between the two teams.
Málaga CF are looking to change this, following a winning streak, and scoring 24 points in the last 15 matches.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men are hoping for another away win, following two away draws and three defeats. The malaguistas are looking to take advantage of the fact that Valencia is the second team who concedes the most goals at home. Former Valencia players Joaquin and Isco are also included in the Málaga CF line-up.
With both teams occupying European positions, the Valencia-Málaga match is to be held on Sunday 18th December at 21.30 in the Mestalla stadium.
