Fran Villalba: “The team competes, we give our all”
The Málaga CF midfielder appeared in the mixed zone after #MálagaGranada. “The team has to insist and follow the line of the last three matches; We are going to Ibiza with that mentality to get the three points,” he said.
Following the matchday 19 fixture, the Malaguista player reviewed the intense Andalusian derby. “The match was even, they started to get better after 20 minutes. We improved as the match progressed, we were good. We suffered as Granada can hurt you at any time, but the team competed and ended up with more chances of winning than Granada.”
“The team competes, gives everything, the players give their all to get the three points, but football isn’t giving us that bit of luck.” As such, Fran insists that “the team has to follow the line of the last three matches; We are going to Ibiza with that mentality to get the three points,” he affirmed.
Regarding his latest performances, the Blue and White number '21' claimed to have “more confidence,” although he said he can give “much more. Little by little I have to give my best version, it’s been difficult, but I have to continue like this,” he stated.
Lastly, Villalba talked about the feeling in the dressing room. “The team is clear, every match is a final. We’re now facing a direct rival, the team is focused on winning no matter what. We’re going to come home with the three points, that’s what we all want,” he concluded.
