The Malaguistas returned to training this Friday, divided into two groups. Those who played more than 45 minutes last night underwent recovery training in the gym whilst the others worked with the ball at the Annexe.
No time to rest. Málaga CF was in action last night against Granada CF on LaLiga SmartBank matchday 19, and today at 11:30 returned to training. It’s a very intense week as on Saturday the lads are heading to the Balearics to face UD Ibiza on Sunday at 14:00.
The Blue and Whites were divided into two groups. One was made up of those who played over 45 minutes of #MálagaGranada, who carried out recovery work in the gym. The other 13 players worked with the ball on the Annexe pitch under Pepe Mel’s orders.
Fran Sol, dropped last minute from last night’s game, is resting at home with a viral infection.
Bustinza, who already has his mask on order and is waiting to receive it in order to progressively re-join the group dynamic, exercised on the side-lines, as did Cristian, Ramón, Álex Gallar, Juande and Andrés Caro, who are advancing with their respective recoveries. Víctor Olmo and Moussa continue progressing with their rehabilitation. Haitam is waiting to undergo surgery.
In regard to home grown players, Juvenil ‘A’ goalkeeper, Andrés Céspedes was new to today’s session, accompanying Carlos López, Dani Lorenzo, Juanmita and Loren.
The final training session of the week will take place tomorrow at 09:30 at La Rosaleda. Pepe Mel will then hold a press conference at 11:00 and the team will head to Ibiza at 12.30.
