Fran Sol: “We’ve seen what Málaga wants to be”

The Malaguista striker, who scored the 1-3 in #MirandésMálaga, talked to MCFTV in the mixed zone: “There’s a lot of room for improvement; we’re starting to see a glimpse of what we could be this season,” he explained.

The scorer of the team’s third goal this evening, Fran Sol, appeared in the mixed zone at Anduva following the win against CD Mirandés.

“At last we have won. We’ve worked so hard, today we saw a team with an identity and what Málaga wants to be,” he said. “We’re starting to see a glimpse of what we could be this season.”

In this match, Fran Sol performed in a role behind Rubén Castro: “I had to do extra work in defence that took away a bit of energy to attack, but in the third I had that lucidity to score, and I’m very happy,” he said.

The Malaguista forward confessed that “we arrived well at this match. It was an action that reflects the style of play that we can have on the counterattack. We gained possession in midfield which led to a triangulation that went very well and which we’re delighted about,” he said of his goal.

Lastly, in regard to the next match: “This week we are going to work intelligently to be able to give the fans the victory they deserve.”
