Fran talked about the need to win. “The victory in the penalty shootout gave us a morale boost. We needed to win away from home to get out of the bad dynamic and face the next two games as if they were finals.”
“It was a very difficult match, but we did it and from now on we hope to show our potential,” added the striker, who dedicated his goal to Álex Gallar's daughter who passed away. “When these things happen, you realise that football isn’t important at all. This is an incredibly hard time and we’re with them all the way. We’ll try to get them a win against Zaragoza.”
Regarding his place in the starting-11 together with Rubén Castro: “We understand one another well, we made some good plays. You can see that we play well together,” Sol concluded.
