“You have to go out there to win, even if it’s on penalties. It gives us strength to face future games. We know that with two victories we can get out of the relegation zone, and we have the team for that,” he started out by saying.  

“We’ve been immersed in a bad dynamic and a mistake ends up punishing you. We’re working on being more forceful and not making mistakes,” said Burgos who praised Peña Deportiva. “We played against a great rival with good players. Our hard work has been rewarded, we know that these games are tough, however they have to be played, and I’m happy that we got the win,” he said.

Regarding the death of Gallar’s daughter, Burgos said that “it’s been a very sad week. You just put yourself in his shoes. We love him very much and it was nice to be able to dedicate today’s win to him” against “a tough team” that “I liked a lot,” said the MCF defender.
