The ball will roll again after a month of waiting. The Malaguistas’ last match of the 19/20 season took place on 20th July against UD Almería. Tomorrow, after 34 days, a match is coming up.
Málaga CF’s first pre-season friendly is being held at the Dama de Noche Football Pitches in Marbella. Kick-off is at 7pm, with Pellicer’s men up against LaLiga Santander outfit, Real Valladolid. The match will be broadcast live on 101 TV and Footters for all Malaguistas to follow, as due to the current health protocol public access is not permitted.
These matches allow the coaches to calibrate their teams ahead of the imminent season. Although there’s nothing at stake, excitement will be high before the competition gets underway.
