First training of the week with six reserves in the group

Málaga CF trained this morning at La Rosaleda after having yesterday off. It was a lighter session for those who played in the game against Villareal, and more intense one for the rest of Pellegrini’s squad.

Goalkeepers Willy and Rubén did some specific training with coach, Xabi Mancisidor, as did reserve keeper Pol, who was one of the six members of Atlético Malagueño who were present. The others were the defenders Paco Aguza and Víctor Ruiz, the leftwing midfielder, Juan – Apoño’s brother – and the forwards Adrián and Samu.  On the other hand, the injured players Joaquín and Javi Malagueño jogged on the pitch with physical recovery coach, Hugo Camarero.  Weligton is now once again fully integrated with the rest of his teammates.

And so four players remain doing specific recovery work in the gym: Gámez, who also jogged around La Rosaleda; Eliseu, Baptista and Monreal, who has suffered from a knock to his right calf, even though this will not stop him playing San Sebastián at Anoeta on Sunday.

At 5 p.m, those players called up by Pellegrini will travel by coach to Nerja to play Xerez CD in the 11th Mateo David Bautista Memorial, a friendly taking place at 7.30 p.m in the Enrique López Cuenca stadium.
