Febas is worth his weight in gold…liquid gold

Last Thursday, the Peña Malaguista de Archidona recognised Aleix Febas as the best player of the 21/22 season. As is tradition, the player was awarded his weight in olive oil.

Aleix Febas was one of the standout players of last season. His quality and pride made him win the affection of the fans. So much so, that the Peña Malaguista de Archidona decided that the midfielder was the best player of the campaign.

As such, for the ninth year - not consecutively due to the Covid outbreak – the Peña presented the winner with his weight in litres of oil. This liquid 'gold' has the Antequera denomination of origin and is an extra virgin olive oil. Just over 60 litres of Antequera oil - DCOOP that, without a doubt, will delight Febas and his family, friends and teammates.

The event was attended by Málaga CF’s Institutional Relations adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar; Mayor of Archidona, Mercedes Montero; the Vice President of the Federación de Peñas, José León; the Secretary of the Federación de Peñas, Arturo Caracuel; several presidents from other Peñas, as well as a large number of Malaguistas who showed Febas the passionate Malaguismo of the municipality.

Archidona is Blue and White, of that there is no doubt. In fact, the president of the Peña himself, David Córdoba, confirmed that for all Málaga CF’s games at La Rosaleda they hire a bus from the town to the stadium.

Thank you for your support Archidona!
