Maresca, who is now in his second season as a Malaguista, is one of the great Sevilla icons having won five titles with them in 2006 and 2007. With the ‘Hispalenses’, the ‘number 16’ secured a Copa del Rey, a Supercopa for Spain, two UEFA Cups and a SuperCopa for Europe.
“It’s a special game in which we all have to go all out to win to get back to getting points, something which is fundamental for us right now. I experienced the best era of Sevilla’s history, I was pretty lucky, and I hope that I can contribute to Málaga’s best era too. I still speak to people from the club, from Sevilla, which is normal,” said Enzo Maresca to MCF-TV.
