The centre-back has signed a one-year contract extension with Málaga CF, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season. After three seasons and two promotions, he will continue representing the Blue and Whites in LALIGA EA SPORTS.
Einar Galilea arrived in Málaga three summers ago to strengthen the Blue and Whites' back line. During the 2023/24 campaign, he played an important role, making 28 appearances in all competitions, 27 in the Primera Federación and one in the Copa del Rey.
In 2024/25, Einar featured in 27 matches in the Second Division. This past season (2025/26), the Vitoria-born defender made a further 25 appearances, helping the club secure its second promotion during his time at Málaga CF. He has now played a total of 80 official matches for the club across all competitions.
Einar has established himself as a key figure for the team, both on and off the pitch. A consistent presence throughout his time at Málaga CF, he is one of the club's captains and has played a part in two promotions.
With this contract extension, Einar will continue with Málaga CF in LALIGA EA SPORTS, Spain's top flight. Over the past three seasons, he has embodied the club's values of hard work, teamwork and commitment, and he will continue to do so for another campaign.
