Einar: “You enjoy it when you see things going well”

The defender spoke to the media after the 2-1 victory over AD Ceuta FC. “In this league, it’s very difficult to string together so many games without losing, it’s a reward for our daily work,” he stated.

Great moment

“We’re in a great moment. Coming back from the break with the same streak, that’s how it’s going. I’ve been really enjoying watching the boys play, I think that’s the key. You have to value it, this league makes it very difficult to string together so many games without losing, and it’s a reward for this amazing team that works day by day in a spectacular way.”

Mood

“Football is a state of mind. The luck we have now is that these ‘mini-matches’ or ‘mini-streaks’ are the result of a lot of work. And of being a cheerful, bold team, eager to take the lead. Enjoy this moment, and while it lasts, fight to make sure it doesn’t end.”

Result

“We would like to keep a clean sheet. Last year, I think we had 16. But you see that offensively we’re creating a lot, and in the end, what matters is the result and getting points. And that’s the unbeaten streak we’ve reached.”

Collective

“I’m enjoying my profession, I feel important, and if things change, I’ll try to help the team in another way. We are 30 guys rowing in the same direction, and there are many people working behind the scenes. Without them, none of this would be possible.”

Boldness

“People want the ball, you feel freer, you enjoy it when you see things going well, and it’s an incentive to take risks. And to finish plays. We’re young people, with boldness. And with our heads held high.”

Personal

“I’m comfortable. When things go well, especially collectively, we’re in a streak of enjoying ourselves and getting points. I’m delighted to be here, but I only think about the next match. You shouldn’t think beyond that. Whatever is meant to come, will come.”
