Dry Martina, the sound of the #SiempreFuerte Awards
The Malagueña singer will perform at the VI Edition of the Awards organised by the MCF Foundation.
The VI Edition of the #SiempreFuerte Awards is picking up pace and advancing in its preparations for the gala taking place at the Museo Picasso Málaga next Wednesday 29th March.
Laura Insausti, known as Dry Martina in the world of music, will follow in the footsteps of La Mari de Chambao, María Peláe, Diana Navarro, Marina Rojas and 'El Kanka'; an unbeatable list of committed artists from Málaga who have performed at previous galas.
In her sixth gala, Dry Martina will be in charge of opening and closing the awards, offering a special and unique performance. As Laura says, her interpretation is made up of one third swing, one part electronics and another part pop, seasoned with a few drops of Latin jazz and a cheeky acid touch in the lyrics. Her career began in 2011 with ‘Musarañas’, an EP made up of pop songs in Spanish with a lot of swing. Since 2012, she has undertaken collaborations with El Kanka and Zenet and has performed live at many events, concerts, tours and festivals.
With her personal touch, Dry Martina will maintain the regional essence of the #SiempreFuerte Awards gala and will fill the stage of the Museo Picasso de Málaga with her magic. The artist joins the support offered by Cervezas San Miguel, Museo Picasso Málaga, Fundación El Pimpi and Grupo Limsama to the MCF Foundation to preserve the legacy of Pablo Ráez.
Thank you for helping to make it an unforgettable gala, Laura. Not long now until we’ll be enjoying your performance!
