Sierra de Yeguas features in Blue and White Values

CEIP Santísima Trinidad de Sierra de Yeguas, a beautiful inland municipality within the province, starred in another edition of ‘Blue and White Values’ at La Rosaleda.

The MCF Foundation, in collaboration with the Diputación de Málaga, continues its campaign of Blue and White Values, dedicated to Málaga schoolchildren.

A total of 72 5th and 6th grade students from CEIP Santísima Trinidad de Sierra de Yeguas visited La Rosaleda this Wednesday full of enthusiasm to experience an unforgettable day. The finishing touch of the visit, as always, took place in the Club's 'Juan Cortés' Press Room.

Basti, from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, acted as master of ceremonies with his usual charisma, introducing the guests for the classic talk on Malaguista values. On this occasion, Andrés Caro, Teté as well as Genuine players Antonio Álvarez and Cristóbal Calle took part.

During the question-and-answer session, the topics under discussion included teamwork, knowing how to combine studying and sports, maintaining a healthy diet and caring for the environment. “I like to have avocado toast, protein and fruit for breakfast,” said Andrés, who follows “a diet to ensure you’re always prepared.” The homegrown defender, a student at the UMA, was emphatic when asked what he spends his free time on. “Me? I focus on my studies.”

For her part, Teté explained that to become a football player you have to have “patience, perseverance and sacrifice, being sure of what you want.” What does she do before a game? They asked the Malaguista number ’10. “I listen to music that motivates me before I play,” she replied. “I make football compatible with my work, about seven hours a day,” she added.

In addition, of course, there was room for football and icons. Antonio and Cristóbal said “Basti” is their idol, amid applause. Andrés cited Sergio Ramos, whilst Teté named Zidane, as their football references.

There was then a group photo with the 'Blue and White Values' commemorative poster and the players signed autographs. Thank you for your visit, Serranos!
