Dioni: “We have to keep going and look ahead without dwelling on it”

The Málaga CF striker, who scored against Real Zaragoza, spoke at the press conference following the match. “One of this team’s strengths is its ability to overcome any adversity,” he stated.

Comebacks against us
“These are two matches where we took the lead, and then specific moments decided the game. Today it was a free-kick, a great goal... We’re in a situation where whatever gets shot at us goes in. We need to stay calm and focus on the next match against Racing de Santander, which will be a tough one.”

Personal
“I’m exhausted. It was a demanding game, but I felt good out there. On a personal level, you leave with a goal, but you’re not happy because what you want are the three points, especially at La Rosaleda with our fans. We have to keep going and look ahead without dwelling on it.”

Streak
“We already had a streak of two losses, against Levante and Castellón. After that, I think we came back with a win. One of this team’s strengths is its ability to overcome any adversity. We’re tough, we’re clear about what we need to do, and in six days, we have another opportunity, and we have to make the most of it.”

Future
“I want to keep playing football for as many years as I can. I love this sport, it brings so much joy to me and my family. I’m calm, focused on Málaga, and on giving my best.
Whatever comes, will come.”
