Unfair result
“It’s unfair leaving here like this. Although they had more dominance in possession, we weren’t struggling, until the unfortunate action that left us open-mouthed. We were hurt yet again. The images are very clear. It appears to be very easy to call a penalty against Málaga, but far more difficult to call one in our favour. The same thing happened in Villarreal, and again today. We must focus on improving on everything we’re doing wrong, as there are things that are very evident. We need to score, and when these things happen it’s upsetting”.
Clear chances
“We generated the clearest opportunities to score. A Llorente corner and another chance for Charles. The fairest outcome would have been a draw, particularly with the images that speak for themselves”.
Improvement
"We have to be self-critical. You cannot question the attitude, dedication and sacrifice of the team. We can look at how we need to improve our performance, but the attitude cannot be disputed. From now on, we must treat every match as if it were a final, and stay strong at home. We can do it”.
