Recovery session for the starting players in Bilbao

Málaga CF was in training this Monday morning at La Rosaleda’s annexe. The starting players from last night in San Mamés underwent physical recovery training, whilst the rest of the team had a normal session.

The squad was divided into two groups. One included the starting players from the match against Athletic Club de Bilbao, who focused on continuous running and stretching exercises at the Annexe, along with reserve team players; Ontiveros, Kuki Zalazar and Luis Muñoz, who were in action yesterday with Atlético Malagueño. Kameni, Demichelis and Camacho, the latter who suffered a sprain to his left ankle (grade I) pending development, remained in the stadium’s interior galleries to undergo recovery treatment.

The other group consisted of goalkeepers; Boyko and the reserve team’s Guille Lara, plus the substitutes in Bilbao and non-called-up players, who underwent a normal training session, including Sandro at full pace. Juanpi and Recio focused on specific work using the ball separately from the group, under the orders of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero. Koné visited La Rosaleda, and will return to France in a few days to continue his recovery from injury. Kuzmanovic, in Switzerland.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Málaga Club de Fútbol has a day off. On Wednesday, the team will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium from 10:30.
