The MCF Foundation’s project, in collaboration with #FundaciónlaCaixa, ‘Blue and White Values’, continues to teach children in all corners of the province. This week, another school enjoyed a remote Malaguista session: CEIP San Isidro.
On Thursday, pupils at CEIP San Isidro in Periana enjoyed the presence of Yanis, Gabi and Isaac in an online meeting, representing the different teams within the Club. During the session, they answered the students’ questions and conveyed the values of sport that they apply to their daily routine.
Yanis on equality
“Little by little things are changing. In the end, we’re all people and should be treated equally. Whether we’re men or women, regardless of religion and skin colour, we are all equal”.
Gabi on the importance of education
“Continue your education. As an example, in my case, although I am a professional player, I studied in the United States and have a masters degree. My studies never stopped me from playing football. I encourage you to continue studying as we’ll have to work in the future”.
Isaac on how he sees football
“In football, you don’t have to win or lose to be the best. Being the best is about camaraderie, having fun and being happy when playing”.
