Contreras: "The girls are more united than ever”

The Málaga CF Femenino coach analyses his team’s victory against El Naranjo, as well as the final stretch of the season: “There are four finals remaining, of which we need to win at least three”.

Match analysis

“As we’ve been saying over these weeks, nobody gives us anything for free, and this week was the same. It was a difficult ground, against a rival who made things tough for us, but the team continues to stand up to any opponent. Now it’s time to continue working hard and start subtracting. There’s nothing wrong in saying we have four finals left and we must win all four, but if that isn’t possible, we need to win at least three”.

Last four matches

“There’s no excuse for rivals anymore. Whatever happens, we have to win three of our remaining games. I don’t mind if it’s against Cáceres, Extremadura, Pozoalbense or Híspalis. What is clear is we need to win three of these matches. If we win four, I’ll be delighted”.

United team

“Everyone gets a chance to play on this team. Noe joined the game and scored. You can analyse everything, every detail, such as Adriana giving the ball to Noelia, so she could score the penalty. As well as winning the three points, this shows that the girls are more united than ever. To beat us, the other teams will have to run a lot”.
