‘Malaguista’ supporters’ clubs and fans are looking forward to a busy weekend of celebrations dedicated to Málaga Club de Fútbol, as the Conejito de Torrox 'Duda 17' ‘peña’ marks its 12th anniversary. The celebrations kick off tomorrow until Sunday.
Málaga Club de Fútbol is getting involved in the anniversary celebrations. Blue and Whites’ veteran and current La Academia coach, Juan Carlos Añoñ is attending, along with other representatives from the Club. From Friday 25th April until Sunday 27th, members of the ‘Malaguista’ supporters’ club, along with other ‘peñas’ and Blue and Whites’ fans, will get together to celebrate this special anniversary at Hotel Iberostar in Torrox Playa.
On Friday 25th, the 'Gran Fiesta Malaguista' is taking place, featuring live music and dancing from Román DJ. On Saturday from 10 a.m. the Beach Football Tournament kicks off at the municipal ground on the ‘Paseo Marítimo de Ferrara’. From 9 p.m. a Blue and Whites’ conference is being held, entitled ‘Past, Present and Future of Málaga CF’, headed up by journalist, Fran Extremera, along with Club adviser, Ben Barek and other former footballers and sporting journalists.
Every Málaga ‘peña’ and Málaga CF fans will celebrate this anniversary in their own special way on Sunday.
