Coca-Cola, a giant committed to The MBC

The iconic relationship between the multinational brand and Málaga CF is now historic for its longevity. The feeling of unity and belonging to the city naturally binds these two entities.

Coca-Cola is, without doubt, a great partner and always has been. Its credentials are indisputable: “Coca-Cola European Partners is the world’s largest and highest-grossing private bottler, operating in 13 countries in Western Europe. It is made up of more than 25,000 employees and over 300 million consumers”.

This company has incalculable business potential, but also a strong social commitment. An example of this is the ‘Fútbol con buen ambiente’ initiative carried out with Ecoembes and MCF. This initiative places recycling bins for containers used at La Rosaleda stadium on match days and within the offices. During the 18/19 season, they recycled some 4,000 litres of waste. As they highlight: “We are a global company with a strong commitment to sustainability. The fight against climate change is an unstoppable movement, which is also the case in Coca-Cola, and we want to be part of the solution”.

Furthermore, Coca-Cola actively collaborates in the current fight against COVID-19, doing what they know best, supplying those who are fighting the virus head-on that has confined more than half the world. “We do so by donating and contributing our products and drinks to the different entities, Hospitals, State Security Forces (UME, National Police, Guardia Civil, Local Police, The Legion, etc), NGOs, Food Banks, Junta de Andalucía, Local Town Halls, etc”.

Their visible faces in ‘The MBC’ are Alejandro García, Head of Communication and International Relations Southeast region Coca-Cola European Partners Iberia, and Juan Francisco Aragón Morales, Communication and International Relations Manager Málaga Coca-Cola European Partners Iberia.
