The Club was represented by its Vice-president Abdullah Ghubn, who was accompanied by the Consultant Advisors, José Carlos Pérez and Francisco Martín Aguilar; as well as the General Manager, Fernando Hierro; the Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández and the First Team Manager, Manuel Pellegrini.
 
After a rich, hearty meal, there was the classic Christmas toast between the Cluband the media from Martín Aguilar, who said: “We’re grateful to Doña Francisquita – catering – how well they’ve looked after us and fed us.  We hope that they resolve the problems of the radio workers as soon as possible.  We wish you Merry Christmas and that you have a great time with your loved ones, and we that in 2012 the team will be where you wish it to be, and that we can reach the great aims in the forthcoming seasons.”
