“We feel very bitter, we didn’t want to get knocked out.  We were aware that we lost a great deal in the last match, and although we tried hard, the rival team packed more punch.  They made five or six good approaches and scored four goals.  The match was an uphill struggle for us.  We tried everything in the first half, but they were more successful than us.  We’re leaving here somewhat ‘heated’ as this wasn’t how we wanted to end the year”.
