Charles undergoes an arthroscopy

Blue and Whites’ player, Charles Dias had an arthroscopy to assess the injury to his left knee. He will soon undergo reconstructive surgery on the affected area.

The Málaga CF striker had the procedure done at the private CHIP hospital by the first team’s surgeon, Vicente de la Varga, under the supervision of the head of the Club’s medical services, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías.

The arthroscopy undertaken by Charles assessed the chondral injury that led to a bone edema, and he underwent an extraction of intraarticular free bodies.  The condition requires further reconstructive surgery, which will be done shortly.  The player will rest until the procedure is carried out.
