The Peña Malaguista ‘Los Lunes’ celebrated its 6th birthday, in which the annual ‘Malaguista Legend’ award was presented. This year, the supporters’ club paid homage to legendary player, Sebastián Humberto Viberti. His son, Martín accepted the award following an emotional video that recalled the figure of the charismatic midfielder.
Charles and Aarón were the guests of honour, and greeted a multitude of fans who requested autographs and photos with the players. “The children have revolutionised this, it’s always great to come here and receive the affection of the members of the supporters’ group”, comments Charles, to which Aarón added: “Being a player from the Academy motivates me to make the most of this opportunity, because as I child I didn’t have many chances to see the players. It’s very encouraging to have their support”.
To end the celebrations, the ‘peña’ presented the Nena Paine and Mercader charity associations with funds raised from the charity tournament held last December.
