The return leg of the 1/16 final of the Copa del Rey against Córdoba CF will be a special match for the Club and charity groups in the city.  The MCF Foundation wants to recognise the hard work and effort undertaken on a daily basis by these organisations, by inviting the various associations to this Charity Match, for the second year running, at La Rosaleda.

A total of 45 charity organisations were in attendance at the Juan Cortés press room at La Rosaleda stadium this morning, to take part in the ticket presentation, in which Presidential adviser, Carlos Pérez was present.

Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’: “This is the second consecutive year we’ve undertaken this initiative.  Headed up Al-Thani, he’s very conscious of helping all the people of Málaga.  We’ve given these invitations to the charity organisations so they can enjoy a great time at our fantastic stadium”.

Jorge López, CUDECA Foundation: “Thanks to this initiative we can give something back to the many volunteers, so they can come and watch the match.  They’re all delighted.  We hope it’ll be a great game.  It’s a wonderful Christmas present”.

Victoria Marín, Asociación Altamar: “This is a great opportunity for our children at risk of social exclusion.  They’re all thrilled.  It’s been a real motivation boost for them to study and work hard.  They don’t have the possibility of coming to a Málaga match.  It’s an amazing chance for them, and makes them very happy”.

Furthermore, last week, match tickets were distributed to soup kitchens in the city, in collaboration with Joyería Marcos, to be given out in exchange for 3 kilos of foodstuffs.
