Interview
Central Hospital at La Rosaleda

The medical services of the Red Cross and Clínicas Rincón oversee the welfare of the fans who attend each match at La Rosaleda stadium.

Some 20,000 fans attend each match at the ‘Malaguista’ stadium.  The Red Cross and Clínicas Rincón implement a prevention system to deal with any medical emergency that may arise during the game.

The Red Cross has two ambulances and some 30 volunteers to cover each match, however if the game is considered high risk, another ambulance is deployed, along with another 10 volunteers.  Also, Clínicas Rincón provides an ICU ambulance, medical personnel and state of the art defibrillators are located throughout the stadium.

Clínicas Rincón has a medical centre situated at La Rosaleda, with many services available, such as radiology, amongst others.  This is operational during the match should an in situ exploration need to take place.

Both medical teams work in perfect coordination to ensure La Rosaleda is a safe place to enjoy football.
