“We’re building the foundations of a solid Club.  We’re not contemplating any players leaving in summer, and we’re continuing to evolve into a stable outfit, which is what we see for Málaga in the future.”

“There’s a feeling of destruction, or unwanted change, which offends us somewhat.  We’re completely focused on the construction, not deconstruction, of a solid, viable Club.  We’re working on a very responsible approach to our current commitments, and establishing a balance between what’s happening on the pitch and in the offices.  This is what we’re trying to convey, but it’s not about deconstruction, we’re definitely going in the right direction.”

“The appeal has been lodged with the TAS.  We can also incorporate the fact that we have many more chances to go a lot further, which we’ve already proved and will continue to do so.  This will help our credibility, not just with the TAS, but also in the League.  A new rule has come into effect, and if you don’t comply with certain financial requirements within three days, then you can’t sign any new players.  We’re focused on ensuring everything is in order in all aspects of the Club, counting on the existing support, and also looking to other institutions to increase that support.  The fans are filling the stadiums every week and doing everything they can for the team, but we still need to look for outside assistance.  We won’t receive an answer from the TAS until April.”

“We’re ready to negotiate with the three institutions, which is something we need to do.  Málaga has backed the institutions for millions of euros over the years.  La Academia is now the Club’s top priority, and we’re looking at the best ways to move forward with our plans, which is crucial for Málaga.”
