Aaron Ochoa, Málaga CF midfielder, successfully underwent surgery in Madrid on Monday afternoon to treat an injury to the lateral meniscus in his right knee. Pablo Campos, head of the first-team Medical Services, was present throughout the procedure.
The surgery involved a partial meniscectomy and repair of the meniscocapsular separation using sutures. For the first three weeks, the player will be unable to bear any weight and will wear a brace on his right knee.
The Malaguista ‘35’, who had completed conservative treatment and has been unable to play since the team’s third preseason match on 6th August, will soon begin his recovery process under the supervision of the club’s medical team.
