Camacho: “We have the chance to end the season with good feelings”

One of the Malaguista captains, Ignacio Camacho was the player in charge of holding today’s press conference following training. “The objective is to win as many matches as possible from now until the end of the season”.

Continuity

“I’m always delighted when I don’t suffer any injuries. It’s been a long while, two years, since I had such a degree of continuity and the ability to end the season playing. I’m grateful that the injuries have respected me”.

Six matches remaining

“There are six games left, and if we don’t take it seriously, it’s going to be a very long stretch. I believe that considering what we’ve achieved, particularly following the recent victories after such a struggle, it has to serve for the coach to gradually continue creating a style of play so we can end the year on a high. We must prepare these final six matches ahead of next season”.

Valencia, rival

“As a team, we must try and give the best image possible and achieve a good result. We’re up against a rival who are a joy to play, so I hope we have a winning team and we go all out for the match. This is an important game for us, we’re determined to claim the three points and arrive with a clear idea of play”.

Ambition and sensations

The objective is to win as many matches as possible from now until the end of the season. We have the chance, after such an irregular year for us, to end the season with good feelings, and look to the future with other perspectives and sensations”.

Bottom of the table

“I think our last two wins have given us a lot of leeway, and the truth is that the teams at the bottom aren’t winning, which helps us. Are we safe? Virtually, we could be, but until the numbers confirm it…I also believe we’re now in a situation where we must focus on winning matches, not lose and look to the teams below us. We need to reach as high as we can as it’s better for the Club”.
