“The two halves of this match were very different.  We dominated possession during the first 45 minutes, but in the second half they were all over us which led to us making a crucial mistake and conceding a goal.  We were determined to equalise and had several chances to score, but at the end of the day, the mistake cost us a valuable three points.  Matches like this can so often be determined by an error from a set piece.  We need to focus now on our next match and try to rectify our mistakes.  It’s so important that we win both home and away games in order to stay near the top of the table.”

“A result like this shows that every team is a difficult rival and can make for a tough match.  We couldn’t bring the three points home, but we were absolutely determined to equalise for the remainder of the match.  It was a very balanced game to be honest, and we all knew that whoever scored first would probably win.  There was little difference between either team, although I think a draw would have been a fairer result.”
