Josep Clotet’s boys dominated the match from the start, despite not converting any of the scoring opportunities into goals, except from a set piece in the first half.
 
There was much more intensity and mobility during the second half.  Impressive play by Rafa allowed Emilio to score a goal for the ‘Malaguistas’; the 2-0 lead came from Rufo thanks to a good pass from Cala.  Perhaps a little too much confidence led to Malagueño conceding a goal, however Paco scored Málaga’s third goal to see the final score at 3-1, and another three points for Malagueño.
