Camacho: “I like to win the fans’ affection on the pitch”
Blue and Whites’ midfielder, Ignacio Camacho, now back with the group having recovered from his recent injury, continues his progressive return to the ‘Malaguista’ team’s dynamic.
“It was best to wait for the time to be right. We can’t rush it, I’ve been training with the team for two weeks now, so I’ll have to see this week, realistically, if I’ll be at 100 per cent to be able to play against Valencia,” comments Camacho to the Club’s official media.
Málaga’s number ‘6’ has completed much of his recovery atHospital Vithas Xanit Internacional in Benalmádena, where he received hyperbaric chamber sessions to help with the oxygenation of the muscles ahead of a suitable physical recovery.
The Aragón-born player is clear that he has matured as a footballer in Málaga: “I feel very connected to the Club, I’m very happy here. We’re doing a good job. I’ve been here for five years, and it’s where I’ve matured the most as a player.I like to win the fans’ affection on the pitch and give my all for this shirt.”
