Camacho: “Athletic Club are a great team”

Camacho speaks positively about pre-season training ahead of the League season kicking off: “We all worked really hard during the pre-season in order to be as prepared as possible for the start of the League.  Athletic Club are a very physical side and a great team.  It’ll be a tough match on Saturday, but we need to focus on our strengths.  They achieved a good result in San Paolo and will put on a strong performance at the weekend.”
 
The Blue and Whites’ midfielder talk about the rumours surrounding his future: “There are rumours circulating and always will be, which is good, but I’m a part of Málaga CF and only ever focus on the present.  I feel great here with this team, and we’re solely concentrating on the start of the League competition and Saturday’s game.”
 
Camacho, who isn’t certain he’s got a place on the team, praises coach, Javi Gracia’s work: “I don’t feel like I’m in the starting-11.  The coach selects the line-up and anyone can get picked.  Javi Gracia is an ambitious manager, who is eager to learn and has a very detailed approach to his work, which is important when talking to the players.  He’s got a hunger for success, which is evident in training sessions.”
