Málaga-born referee, Mario Melero López, recently promoted to the BBVA League First Division, informed Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team of the major arbitration rules ahead of the 2014/5 season, which kicks off at the weekend.

Before this morning’s training session, Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team was informed of some of the rules to keep in mind during the 2014/15 campaign, by ‘Malagueño’ BBVA League referee, Mario Melero López.  Accompanied by team representative and former assistant referee, Victoriano Giráldez Carrasco, Melero López chatted with coach, Javi Gracia and emphasised certain rules, including a hand ball following a rebound, elbowing, added time, specific goal chances and the use of evanescent spray, which is being implemented by the Professional Football League (LFP) in the BBVA League this upcoming season.

This meeting forms part of training activities undertaken by the Technical Arbitration Committee to all teams in the BBVA League and ‘Adelante’ League before the season kicks off.
