Bustinza: “Playing football with your fans’ support gives you a boost”

The Blue and White defender spoke to MCFTV following Granada-Málaga. “It’s about training the attitude and how to affront the competition,” he stated.

“Between yesterday and today, many players have completed 90 minutes. It’s important for the competition and we’re pleased with how it went,” said Unai who went on to add that “every match is a world.” On a tactical level, “we’ve been playing with a line of five and we moved to a line of four in both games. There’s a period of adapting in the match itself, but the important thing is the team was able to overcome the difficulties we’re going to face over the season. It’s about training the attitude and how to affront the competition,” stated the defender.

From a personal point of view, “the work we’ve done during the pre-season is noticed later on. I felt better, fresher and ended the match in a much-improved way,” he affirmed.

Finally, Bustinza talked about the fans. “It’s the pre-season, but for us today, beyond the concepts that we’re working on, playing football with your fans’ support gives you a boost. We really appreciate the fact they came here to cheer us on,” he concluded.
