Francis Bravo is back within the Club Atlético Malagueño discipline, re-joining Juanfran Funes’ coaching team.
Bravo served as assistant coach of the first team during Pablo Adrián Guede's time as Málaga CF manager, at the end of the 21/22 season and at the beginning of this current 22/23 season. He resumes his coaching role with Atlético Malagueño and, as such, remains at the Club.
Francisco Javier López Bravo (Málaga, 1974) needs no introduction. Along with Basti, a symbol as a player of the Club's famous motto “From Adra to Athens”, rising with the team from the Third Division to the First Division as captain, his career at Málaga CF has continued in recent years as a coach.
After returning to the Club several seasons ago from CD Rincón, Bravo trained Juvenil ‘A’ in the División de Honor and has formed a coaching tandem with Funes at Malagueño the past two seasons in Group IX of the Tercera Federación.
His experience and extensive background in elite football, as a player and coach, make Bravo highly useful in the training of the young players within Málaga CF’s reserve team. Francis, we love that you're still working with us.
