Bobley Anderson: “I’m having a wonderful time”

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Bobley Anderson held a press conference this morning following training. The Ivory Coast-born player, who has just been called up to play for his country, is pleased how he’s adapted to the Blue and Whites.

Bobley Anderson confirmed in today’s press conference that he doesn’t have any specific idols, he feels comfortable in attacking positions on the pitch, and has adapted well to the team and living in Málaga: “I’m doing really well, this city is amazing, the people are lovely and I’m having a wonderful time.  Today’s high temperatures didn’t really bother me, I’m used to it coming from Morocco.”

The player from the Ivory Coast is looking forward to being a part of the team that combines youth and experience: “I hope I can reach the fans’ expectations.  The coach has been telling us to be more creative on the attack, which is what I’ve been working on, and to really put the pressure on our rival in defence.  Players like Roque, Duda and Weligton support the team a great deal, and have a wealth of experience.  We’re now working towards improving our creativity.  Despite the players that have left the team, Málaga CF knows how to play excellent football.”

Finally, Anderson is thrilled to have been called up for international duty: “The call came out of the blue, but I’m very proud to get the chance to play for my country.”
